Strengths
The sanded hybrid cover provides some very good versatility for medium to heavier oil conditions. It can handle the fresh and well into transition using the box finish, or it can be enhanced with a bit more surface when needed.
Weaknesses
The Perfect Mindset's only weak spot is on shorter, drier conditions. Even with the addition of polish, there are better options out there for this kind of environment.
Overall Summary
The Perfect Mindset gives bowlers more length, a stronger response to friction, and less total hook than the original Mindset. It provides great versatility for medium to heavier oil conditions, and it is a logical step down from the even stronger options in the Brunswick lineup when those balls start hooking too early.
