Strengths

The Captivate is extremely predictable and incredibly strong through the pins, without forcing you to cover a lot of boards. It offers bowlers of all styles a very good option on medium to drier conditions that won't have you worrying about seeing the ball be overly oil-sensitive or too angular off the dry.

Weaknesses

The length from the shiny pearl cover and lower flare potential core design make the Captiv8 less useful on longer and heavier oil patterns.

Overall Summary

We really liked the Captiv8 on conditions that gave it enough dry to get to the pocket. It was very controllable for a pearlized ball. All three of our testers were surprised and extremely impressed with the reaction the Captiv8 provided across our patterns.
