DV8 Bowling is proud to introduce an all-new line and bowling technology, the Trouble Maker. This ball features a motion that will work well for traditional bowlers, but will be a two-handed no thumb bowlers dream. The Dualistic symmetric core was designed with special "cavities" in the core shape to cater to no-thumb drilling.
Wrapped in the Inciter Max Continuation hybrid reactive coverstock and finished at 500/2000 Siaar Micro Pad, Trouble Maker can take on medium to heavy lane conditions and retain tons of energy downlane, thanks to DynamiCore technology.

There is no question that the fastest growing and most exciting category in our game is the 2-handed bowler and those that don’t use their thumb. These styles have revolutionized the game, yet there has never been a bowling ball designed with the uniqueness of these players in mind. DV8 saw a need in the market for a ball that would work for traditional bowlers but is specifically designed with 2-handers and no-thumb bowlers in mind, and we are excited to introduce the Trouble Maker.
Strengths
The Trouble Maker provides easy hook and a strong back end reaction on heavy and medium oil conditions. The ball responded well to surface changes in our testing to further increase its versatility.
Weaknesses
Even with the addition of polish to the coverstock, the Trouble Maker was too strong for our dry house shot test pattern.
Overall Summary
While the Trouble Maker is marketed to and designed for two-handed no-thumb bowlers, all three of our traditional three-finger bowlers found it to be very versatile for medium to heavier oil. The ball created easy traction in the midlane with a strong and continuous back end motion.
