Hammer fans can't get enough of the Web line or HK22, and that's why Hammer decided to create this piece. Dark Web Hybrid features HK22 - Aggression Hybrid coverstock, finished at 500/1000/2000 Siaair Micro Pad, that will provide an earlier read on medium to heavy lane conditions.

Inside, the modified Spheroid symmetric core will help create stronger shape down lane.

The Dark Web has been a great benchmark type of motion for Hammer fans, and we’re excited to introduce the new Dark Web Hybrid featuring HK22. HK22 has become the hottest new cover technology in bowling, producing incredible reaction shape where bowlers want to see it most. The Dark Web Hybrid has the same modified Spheroid core with a dense flip block that helped make the Dark Web Solid so popular. The familiar core and addition of HK22 finished with 2000 Siaair will give Hammer fans a stronger mid-lane and backend motion.

Strengths

The Dark Web Hybrid is strong enough in the midlane to handle heavy oil, while providing a consistent reaction at the breakpoint and back end. This makes it versatile and easily adaptable to bowler style and conditions.

Weaknesses

The aggressive cover and dull box finish do need some oil up front to be effective. Despite hooking slightly less than the original Dark Web, drier conditions will still require a ball designed for less oil than the Dark Web Hybrid.

Overall Summary

The Dark Web Hybrid uses the same symmetrical core as the Dark Web, but with the HK22-based Aggression Hybrid coverstock to provide more length and less overall hook. The combination of midlane traction and back-end motion makes it a versatile option for bowlers.
