Big hook and no stop on the backend; that’s Extreme Envy! The first Envy handled heavy oil easily, but bowlers have been asking for more pop on the backend, and we’ve delivered that with the new Extreme Envy. We started with the Envy cover and added carbon fiber; this addition has created a heavy oil ball that does not quit on the backend. Extreme Envy has a different core than the original Envy; this version of the Launcher core has a slightly lower RG and was created to match the Envy CFI cover perfectly. Everything about this new Envy is Extreme; you’ll be extremely happy with yours whenever you need lots of hook!

Strengths

The easy traction from the Extreme Envy allowed it to handle any amount of oil we came across. It was extremely easy to overpower our test conditions with the Extreme Envy.

Weaknesses

Any amount of dry in the front of the lane made it difficult to get the length needed to keep the Extreme Envy in the pocket. Even adding polish to the shell wasn't enough to tame it down for use on our dry test pattern.

Overall Summary

The Extreme Envy adds another hook monster to the Hammer line. Inside and out, this ball was designed to handle heavier oil volumes and longer oil patterns. Bowlers who struggle to get the ball started early enough on these types of conditions will really like the motion of the Extreme Envy.
